Advice for 5 day trip to Tunisia in Mid-December

Would really appreciate feedback on how best to plan for only 5 days in Tunisia. We are trying to catch a glimpse of the country without overdoing the sightseeing and don't really need beach time.
Also do let me know if there are any other precautions 2 female travelers should take beyond being appropriately dressed.
