Looking for economic travel options from Los Angeles<CA USA to Kigali, Rwanda. Which airlines traveling to and in Africa are dependable?

Check Kayak www.kayak.com for flights/fares/schedules (carriers, or course).
Likewise other airline search engines.
Carriers will vary as will prices and schedules.

Economic ? means what. When are you traveling and what do you expect to spend. What have you found? Which carriers, fares, stops, etc.?

Many international flights arrive Nairobi/NBO, Kenya; Addis Ababa/ADD, Ethiopia; mabe into Dar-Es-Salaam/DAR (southern Tanzania)... with connections to KGL; and I'm sure other carriers thru Europe to KGL.

Long haul, KLM flies from Amsterdam; Belguim Air from Brussels; Turkish Airways from Istanbul and Rwandair from Dubai....all non stop.

Until you check flight schedules/fares will you know what works with your budget. For sure fare will be higher out of LAX than if from JFK. Also, whether any of the carriers mentioned by Elizabeth_S actually fly out of LAX? Or you have to use a US carrier to those European cities and onward to KGL.

Start looking... check Kayak or other such search engines.
