I may need to book a flight from Gondar in Ethiopia to Amman Jordan & I am not sure of the best way to do this! I usually like to book directly through the airline but I am not able to do this for this route through one airline or at least I cannot find a way. The best routing I see is Gondar - Addis-Dubai-Amman. May split the trip with a night in Addis. I could of course use Expidia or the like but I have never used one of these sites before as I say I have usually gone straight through the airline. Any hints appreciated! Thanks in Advance. I will also post this on the airline forum.

If flying Ethipian Air makes sense they stop at Addis/ADD.
But why not check Expedia, Orbitz, even Kayak to see what's being offered for that route - air carrier, flight times, stops, prices - then if you'd prefer not to book thru one of these search engines, contact the airline directly. No guarantee you can get the same (if lower) prices seen on these, but you can beg! Always speak softly, but assertive... It works sometimes.
Sandi my thing with the engins is that I think somewherealong the line I have been lead to belive that if something goes astray whilst travelling (cxl flts etc) it can be more difficult to deal with than if you booked through the airline itself???? You are in the biz what are your thoughts on this?
