Discover card recently dropped all foreign transaction fees. Am now considering using my card if I need too. Question: Is Discover widely accepted? According to Discover card they are accepted where ever Diners Club logo appears. Your opinion.....
Thanks!

As far as I know Discover card is not accepted at all in Israel - I wouldn't risk depending on it.
Go to discover.com/international and you will find a list of countries where Discover will work. I am going to France and Turkey this autumn but Discover only works in Turkey.
So don't depend on Discover - you should always have a backup card with you anyway.
Discover isn't even accepted a lot of places in the US.
Captial One has Visa and Master Cards with NO foreign transaction fees. That's what we used all over Israel.
