My husband might have a job opportunity in Oman or Qatar. We presently live in Ontario,Canada. What is it like living in those Countries. Is it safe for women. We also have a two year old. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Trip Report - Honeymoon Safari in Tanzania - End of July/August 2012
I visited Doha, Qatar, along with approximately 20 of my Texas A&M University colleagues this past Fall. I loved it! Everyone is extremely safe in Doha. We heard numerous times in our many meetings that Doha and the country are practically crime-free. Most of the educational systems are good, and offer an international high school diploma. There is an American School in Doha, and I believe French, Spanish, etc. With a two year-old, I would not be very concerned at this point about her education. The child will be very safe there. My husband and I may be living there for two years, also. I am very hopeful that we receive the opportunity.
