Maun to kasane help

i am planning on driving from Maun to Kasane with an equipped Landcruiser 4.2D VX, pulling a camping trailer during the first week in April. i have done this before, pulling the same trailer with a prado 6 years ago, but am looking for advice on road conditions and the viability of doing this trip during april. our last trip was during june
