Very cool! A cheetah jumped on the roof of our vehicle in Kenya in June. http://www.pbase.com/cjw/image/145024929 We didn't get as close as the people in the video.
They are such beautiful elegant cats. What an experience you had!
When we found a cheetah jump on the bonnet of our safari vehicle back in '05, we were in tears. She just sat there on the other side of the windscreen as we toasted with champagne. Looking out - us; looking in - she. Quite amazing as she stayed with us for about 45/minutes with no intention of leaving, till our driver started the engine as it was already almost 8pm and dinner was waiting back at camp. Leaving her, we almost ran over her consort who was sitting in a ditch around the bend... scared the heck out of us, though he continued on his way. And then on the road... four lions simply wandering in front of us, out for 'an evening stroll' is appeared. But believe me, the eyes on both sides of the road were on guard.

While giraffe/Twiga is my favorite animal, agree with above that cheetah/Duma is the most elegant of cats, especially their little bird-like chirping babies
I saw this on Safari Talk, I think. It literally made me cry, I can't even imagine it! I am going to Tanzania in February and I'm afraid I might keel over in delight if this happened to us! Incredible.
