Hello,
I'll arrive in Johannesburg Dec. 16 early in the morning and will pick a car at the airport. I'm planning on going straight to Kruger area...
Have 2 nights booking at Klaserie private reserve staring on Dec 18th. so I have 2 nights before that I'm not sure where to stay.
I will have one more day and night free before taking my flight to Cape Town from Nelspruit ariport.
I'm not sure if I should visit Blyde Riven Canyon the first 2 nights or just the last day/night before my flight.
Any advice and places to stay?
Thanks
Luciana

Kruger is six hour drive from JNB. Are you sure you'll be up for that after the flight and time change? Kruger gates and camps probably close at 6pm. So you could stay that night near Kruger then next day drive into Kruger heading north to near the Orpen gate, that you will exit for Klaserie. That night you might stay at Kruger camp Orpen or Satara. Or leave Kruger and stay at B&B just outside Kruger. (Sorry, I have no B&Bs to recommend). Next morning you drive into Klaserie for your camp. Here is Kruger's web site if you haven't seen it -

If you become fascinated with the wildlife (as I am) you might consider driving back through Kruger to Nelspruit. Blyde River Canyon area is nice but if you've ever seen the Grand Canyon or any other of the South West US parks, you will not be get excited about BRC.

We've stayed a couple of times at the Graskop Hotel in... Graskop! It's affordable, fun/funky, comfortable, and next door to Harrie's pancake shop. Day trips to various Panoramic Route sights - Three Rondavels, God's Window, etc. - are easy and very enjoyable, and it would take you maybe an hour to get to Klaserie when the time comes.
