I have just booked by trip to Tanzania and my itinary is as follows:
July 19 Mt Meru Hotel
July 20 Tarangire Safari Lodge
July 21-22 Serengeti National Park
July 23-24 Kenzan Luxury Tented Camp
July 25 Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge -
July 26 -Arusha
July 27-29 Zanzabar -Jaffer House
I would appreciate any feedback or suggestion for the trip. THis is a dream trip for me and I want to be sure I havr all basis covered

Have no idea of the distances and travelling time inbetween each destination, but for me, way too many stops and not enough time at each place.

July 19 Mt Meru Hotel - OK for arrival
July 20 Tarangire Safari Lodge - is a tented camp (not a lodge as the name indicates) with a few stone cottages at the end of the line of tents. Tarangire absolutely deserves 2/nts. Besides, drive to Serengeti from here will take most of the day to arrive (below) on 21st July.
July 21-22 Serengeti National Park - where staying in the Serengeti? Central, West, North? What lodge or camp?
July 23-24 Kenzan Luxury Tented Camp - though a seasonal camp, where will it be located in Serengeti during July? As the drive on 21st will take most of the day, why not just combine these 4/days, staying in one location so you have 3/full days of game drives.
July 25 Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge - from Serengeti (wherever Kenzan located) it will take till early- to mid- afternoon to arrive, so insufficient time for crater tour; tour will have to be done next morning which is limited to 6/hrs.
July 26 -Arusha - crater tour will be done this morning, then 4+/hr drive to Arusha for o/n (or if you there is a late flight onto Zanzibar... ask).
July 27-29 Zanzibar -Jaffer House - where is Jaffer House located? In Stone Town or out on the beach? (can't seem to find link for this property thru a search).
