Who would you suggest as a trip coordinator for a trip to Kenya?
All have been quick to respond to questions, come up with very similar quotes, etc.
It seems like the trip planner is critical in getting a smooth, well-executed safari, so are any of these choices better than another?
Being in the US, it seems like Serendipity or Rothschild might be the more obvious choice, as they're in the US as well, but would it matter that ATR is in the UK?
Not sure what else to compare, as I haven't found many reviews of any of these companies.
Thank you!
Penny

IMO, you can't go wrong with Serendipity. I appreciate Sandi's knowledge and skill at presenting alternatives that I had, perhaps, not thought of.
I have talked to Sandi many times and she is always extremely helpful.
I agree... of those three, I'd use (and have used) Sandi at Africa Serendipity. She focuses on East Africa and has good relationships with the outfitters and camps there.
"I appreciate Sandi's knowledge and skill at presenting alternatives that I had, perhaps, not thought of."

That was my experience when Sandi @ Africa Serendipity organized my trip to Kenya in 2011.
She really knows her stuff as you'll evidence by her helpful posts on here and the package I received in the mail after booking was chock full of even more amazing information...along with the words to the Jambo Bwana song!
So seriously what more could you ask for??
Hi PennyUSA
I have never used Sandi as a travel agent but if her helpful and generous comments and extensive knowledge are anything to go by, I would think Sandi would make an excellent choice.
Her comments on my planning of my trip to Tanzania and Rwanda in June were very helpful and she narrowed everything down so that making choices were quite simple!
Kind regards
Kaye
We used Sandi for travel to East Africa and she was outstanding in every way. She travels quite a bit to these countries and has first-hand experience at the various camps. Her advice is very valuable and service was excellent.
I live in the U.S. and we used ATR to plan our last trip to Tanzania. They were great and everything worked out really well.
I was very happy with Sandi's help and services at Africa Serendipity. She helped us plan a great trip to Tanzania last summer.
Might as well "throw my hat into the ring" so to speak, we have enjoyed three safaris to East Africa since 2009 with Africa Serendipity.
