I carry with me to this day...I'm not alone and this board/forum is good therapy : ) I thought I'd post pics from my first stint in Africa which was an extended trip---a 10 day safari in Kenya followed by a few months with missionary friends in Zimbabwe (it was 1992 and they worked with the refugee camps along the border with warring Mozambique) and then a couple months of backpack/"Africa on a Shoestring" type travel....since then, I've been back to one place or other eight more times...maybe others will post as well (or not : ) but since I've just converted some of these to digital I thought this is as good as place as any to share:

All are beautiful-especially love the people and the lemurs! The chameleons are fantastic too.
Welcome to the hooked on Africa club! Great shots. Lots of rhino activity.
Liked the rhinos, especially the napping ones. The lemurs in Madagascar were terrific. Nice people photos--can see how you got hooked on Africa. Have you been back to some of the places visited on your first trip?

When were you in Madagascar?
I was there (in Madagascar) in 1992 and then about a year and a half ago---those pics are in a Malawi/Madagascar album I posted as a trip report...To answer the question, I've not repeated much. I've been through Cape Town quite a few times as a gateway...the Crater and the Serengeti twice...Bostwana twice...Madagascar twice but different parts of the country...Africa is so big that most of the trips I've been able to cover new ground...
