As I was trying to research flights for my annual Asia trip in November, I realized this is the first tie I've done it on the "new" United site. I had the old site set up to show me the number of each booking code available (NC, XC, etc) so I could search for upgradeable seats. I've just realized the new site doesn't do that or I don't know how to set it up to do so. As a Million-Miler, I feel silly asking this question, but I haven't been able to find a place of the site to set this up.

This is a really long thread, but you might look at the instructions posted at the top (updated in Sept) and some of the last few pages. Note that the upgrade and award seat codes have changed; e.g., upgrades are now "R."

The process could have changed, but this was the most recent thread I found and people were still posting on it about a month ago, so maybe not??
I use Expertflyer to do this and much prefer it, so no recent experience with the UA (or, ex-Continental) site. Good luck!
Thanks, Ms. Go. It used to be so simple... one more thing I don't like about the merger.
and the fare bucket codes have changed:

Yes, I noticed that, Mr.W. Thanks for the link with the full listing.
And the "R" availability is extremely limited nowadays!!!
