Hi all
We are starting to plan an India trip and would like some feedback about a portion of the trip in/around Udaipur
We would like to take advantage of a hotel offer, and this would invlove 4 nights in Udaipur
We would arrive early pm on the first day and leave early on the last
I think there is enough to see and do
What are your thoughts?
Many thanks
4 Nights Udaipur (3 1/2days)

Plenty to see and do. See my trip report here:

It should be fairly easy to scroll down to the Udaipur section.
Hi Craig
Thanks for the link and reading your report was very exciting
How did you organize the India portion i.e internal flights
hotel stays and local drivers and the Audergabad portion
Were you involved with any local agencies or did you do some of the bookings online?
thanks again
Lots to do in and around Udaipur! Which hotel are you considering?
sb1020 - I did it all on-line, with the exception of a driver to take us from Udaipur to Kumbhelgarh Fort and Ranakpur Jain Temple, which I arranged through our hostess at Pahuna Haveli. In most cases I used the hotels' and airlines' own web sites. I think I had to use Expedia for one or two of the flights. The guide and driver for Aurangabad were arranged in advance through the Lemontree Hotel.
as craig says plenty to do in udaipur.. it was our favorite city/town in india thus far..
we stayed at the sheraton palace and loved it...
read my trip report--"why India--Part II" from 2011.. click on my name to find it..
good restaurants in udaipur too.
As always, you guys are very helpful
