We are planning to fly into Bhutan from N. Delhi in late Nov.2011. In the meantime we are hoping to use FF miles to get into India for a 3 week tour prior to going on to Bhutan. My problem is that I cannot find a schedule for Druk Air flights that far out. In the meantime in order to use our FF miles we must book our flights into India as soon as possible. Any suggestions as to how we might do this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Bob

Since you'll need to use a Bhutan based agent to help you set up your trip anyway, I'd suggest you contact one now. They will know the "usual" schedule for Druk Air at that time of the year.

when you have finished planning your trip, you can send the date of your travel to one of the tour operators in Bhutan, and according to that, Bhutan tour operator will find the flight schedule for you and also will check the availability of the flight on that particular day.
Due to limited flight some time you may need 1 or 2 days extra.

Exactly right what Kathie said.
feel free to ask if required help
Remember flights to Paro can be cancelled or delayed due to weather, indealy you should allow an extra day or two when returning to Delhi before flying back home to protect yourself. However, Indian visa requirements have a restriction on reentering the country within a certain time frame after your initial departure (in your case this would be when you go to Bhutan) and you`d need to check if you can reenter India after visiting Bhutan. If not, consider flying to another Druk Air destination after your visit to Bhutan. I wouldn`t take a gamble with a same day connection in Delhi especially not when using FF miles.
sorry, should read idealy, you should allow an extra day...
BTW, I see the op is from Jan so perhaps flights are already booked now.
Do not worry about the flight tickets to Bhutan> you got to let your local agents know about your schedule. Accordingly, they will book for you
