Hey Guys i am planning to go to thailand please let me know what you eat and what are the special items and what are the best places to visit
thanks in advance
Yes, the food is amazing and there is no shortage of it. The street food is good (and safe to eat), and food is mostly very inexpensive. A noodle dish that I'd pay $13 for in the US is $3-$4 in Thailand (and tastes better, naturally). I never had a bad meal...even the pizza was good at most places! You can buy a bag of cut up fruit on the street for about 15 baht ($.50).
I will say that in my experience they don't spice things much for Farangs (westerners)...so I had to request they bring extra spice to the table often, or had to remember to order it medium spicy, which was generally plenty hot for me.
One should always be cautious of eating street food anywhere in the world. Check for proper hygiene practises and refrigeration of raw meat or fish at any stalls before you try the food. Many, many people including locals have been hospitalised for food poisoning so do be careful.
The issue with street food is as Hunuman has said refrigeration , and watch how they wash the dishes. There are many good local places to eat that have better facilities. You can also do well eating all manor of International foods. You will not go hungry in Thailand
Thank you all for answers.
So,i quess.. i must go there and try their specialities.
