I am traveling to Bali for eight days (after Singapore and Java). I want a hotel in Ubud center and have currently booked at the Sri Bungalows. I would appreciate any other hotel recommendations.
Also, has anyone taken a bus tour from JOG to Bali that includes hotel stays along the way?
This is such a great forum for information.

What price range? The Kominika on Monkey Road is a 4++ star at 3++ stat prices.
There is another Kominika in the city that is not as desirable but it it is probably $75-$80 less than the newrt one on Monkey Rd, The newest one on the edge of town looked beatiful and I suspect is $40-$50/night more than the Monkey Rd. one location. So you can spend $150-$275 based on which you take. At all you can be assured of excellent service, very clean facilities and nicely set-up.
