January 2013 we are heading to Myanmar and Vietnam. We are breaking our flight at NRT and would appreciate some hotel recommendations near the airport. We have two days between flights and would like a location were we could wander and not be stuck in a hotel far from everything. Thanks

look in narita town
If I had two days I would go into Tokyo - Narita as far as I've heard is good for a quick overnight or a few extra hours but with two days why go there when Tokyo is about an hour from NRT?
No point in staying in Narita, even if it's just for an overnight. The Keisei train takes only 40-45 mins from Nippori or Ueno, which can be the same amount of time you'd spend dealing with a Narita hotel shuttle. Both Ueno and Nippori are interesting places to hang out for a day, and they're both on the Yamanote Line if you want to head elsewhere.
