My fiancee and I will be travelling in Bhutan in mid-Nov. and would like to have a Buddhist marriage ceremony preformed while we are there ( will also have to be married at home to be legal). Has anyone done this or know someone who has done this? Any comments/recommendations would be appeciated.

I don't know anyone who has done this in Bhutan, but I know people who have had such ceremonies in other countries.
As you know, you have to book your trip to Bhutan with a Bhutan agency (agencies elsewhere will advertise as arranging Bhutan trips, but thhey have to go through a Bhutan agency as well). So I'd consult with the agency you've chosen. I'm sure they will be glad to help you set this up.

Haha, I surely know a couple - Tony Leung ("Hero", "Infernal Affairs", "In the Mood for Love" and many more) and Carina Lau ("Infernal Affairs II", "Day of Being Wild" and many more) in 2008. Seems like every celebrity in Hong Kong were there for the private ceremony.
The couple are friends with uber-singer Faye Wong, who in turn is friend with the 17th Karmapa there.

I imagine one could probably arrange it (hardly the oddest request) but from what I've been reading, marriage ceremonies are extremely low key and informal in Bhutan. When people move in together, they are considered married. Maybe someone has contrary information but perhaps something to keep in mind.
i would consult the B embassey in your country also... there may be legal issues
