Hi everyone: For reasons that are too long and annoying to get into here I was unable to work out getting an unlocked cellphone before departing for HK tomorrow morning. I will only need a cellphone for a week and literally only need it for texting/short calls for times when a friend and I might split up for an afternoon or something.
Does anyone have any recommendations for this? I'm thinking maybe there's something like the "GoPhone" from AT&T here in the US where you can buy a junky phone for $20 and I think pay something like $2/day with unlimited nationwide texts/calls. I've been trying to research this online but most info is around SIM cards with unlocked phones so I thought perhaps someone would have a quick tip here. Thanks!
options for texting/short calls in HK?

HK and Singapore have the best phone rental deals on the planet - Rent a Handy smartphone when you get there - Less than $10 a day, includes international calls and unlimited data. Also works as a mobile hotspot. Reserve online.
