Phillippines 3 weeks

I will be in the Philippines for 3 weeks starting on January 20th. Much of the time will be spent in and around Manilla but I will also be spending some time in the Visayas. I will be working part of the time and my wife is thinking of coming with me and was looking for things to do while I'm working. Any suggestions?

We were also wondering about hiring a driver. Any suggestions of good ones or ways to find good ones?
