Now that we are back from our trip I am working on our pictures. So far I have gotten it down to about 700 but still have much more editing to do. Once I am finished I want to put them on to a DVD with some written information and titles if possible. I am pretty good on the computer but am not familiar with any of these programs. I need one that is fairly intutive, drag and drop.
I am sure many of you have done this and have suggestions.

What computer system do you use - Mac or PC?
I find that if you just want to do a slideshow with captions, transition and add on soundtracks (music, voice over etc), then I like using a video editing program that can burn DVDs.
For Mac I use Final Cut Pro but you can use iMovie as well.
For PC I use Pinnacle Studio.
Again, there might be a dedicated picture to DVD software that I am not aware of but in the past I've done the same thing using my video editing softwares.
