Hello,
I will be travelling to Japan from 21 March to 6 April with my Wife. We fly in and out of Tokyo, and I am now closing the detailed planning of our trip. I have already decided to visit Tokyo (5 days), Kyoto (3 days), Hiroshima (2 days), Okayama and Naoshima (2 days) so I still have the possibility to add another City / Area. Please, let me know your opinion / best choice among Fukuoka, Osaka and Kanazawa.... We like visiting monuments, gardens, museums.... countryside ...NO nightlife etc... GRAZIE (thanks) for you help. Gianni from Milan, Italia.

Amazing Malaysia Trip!

Kanazawa
Aloha!
Kanazawa is my quick answer considering your interest in gardens and it is home to Kenrokuen.
But, looking at your travel date, I would first look into the weather as I would be concerned mainly about rain at that time but also cold.
Good that you have Okayama on your itinerary as you can visit Korakuen and Okayamna-jo.
Fukuoka (the city and prefecture) and Saga prefecture would also fit the bill and likely with better weather. Also, it is on the Sanyo shinkansen line and a quick hop from Hiroshima. Given a few days in the area I would visit pottery towns in Saga and maybe go over to Beppu for the onsen.
Fukuoka might be a good area for cherry blossom viewing during the period of your travel. ht?
hey its really a nice place don't miss the place watch it out nice sceneries and beautiful looking gardens, climbing mountains you really enjoy i am sure about that
This is our final plan of the trip to Japan:
Hiroshima 2 days, Okayama (and Naoshima) 2 days, Kyoto (and Nara) 4,5 days, Kanazawa 2,5 days, Tokyo 4,5 days.
We will use a 14 days JR pass.
Thanks for your help.
Grazie, arrivederci. Gianni
Spero che tu abbia un buon tempo in Giappone!
Aloha!
hawaiiantraveler .... GRAZIE! Scusa, ma Tu scrivi da Honolulu? Parli italiano o usi un traduttore? eng - Sorry, but you really live in Honolulu? Do you speak italian or you just use a translator? Few years ago (2009) we spent 20 REALLY BEAUTIFUL days in Hawaii! What a nice trip, beleive me. I hope to be able to come there again in the future even if it's a long, long journey. CIAO, Gianni
He has one of those fancy phones that does every thing for him. I think it even brushes his teeth.
Yes,I have an iPhone I use for translations. It does a lot but does not brush my teeth nor make a 5:00 pm martini shaken hard for me. CIAO
Aloha!
