My husband and I did our first Grand Circle trip to Eastern Europe in June. We have always traveled independently and we weren't sure how we would like this kind of traveling. It was wonderful! We were already planning our next trip before we left Europe. There were several people on this trip who have taken several Grand Circle trips and with other traveling companies. Many said that Grand Circle was the best. I have not heard any negative comments.
Thanks for the info. Our trip to Australia, etc. is scheduled for Feb. We are hoping to go to Eastern Europe next Oct. Which Grand Circle tour did you take? What were the pros and cons of your tour.shernsam@aol.com

Did the people who went on Feb actually go? Do you have info to post that would be good for other travelers? We're planning to go with GCT in Aug. 2010

That's February 2001.
Just returned from Black sea to North Sea on River Aria GCT
ship. After doing China & Tibet with OAT last year and Israel
& Equpt with GCT. also last year, this trip was not as active
and to much free time. After years of Ocean cruising we tried something else. GCT & OAT provided as promised and 99% of the tour guides were exceptional. Trips of that lenght will have hip cups but everything was well planned and interesting to most.
