Hello!!
Considering New Caledonia for our honeymoon - has anyone ever been there?
The pictures seem great, but I cannot find too much info about the island. Would love to hear some real people talk about the island!!
Thanks a million!!
Has anyone been to New Calendonia?

I havnt been there for many years, but as I am going on a cruise, that stops there, I have been doing a lot of research, it is Very Expensive, not a lot of things to do, and I think you could find a better place to spend your Honeymoon. But Isle De Pines looks great, just off Noumea, beautiful Island, snorkling and diving, it looks to me to be the Perfect Spot.
Look it up on the net.
Have not been there, but read an article on this island not too long ago (I believe in "Islands" magazine). Seems it is THE destination for the rich from Europe. And, according to the article, there is quite a bit of topless and nudity to keep in mind, if you are offended by that.
The Isle of Pines would be an idyllic honeymoon spot. I'd try and stay clear of Noumea (for more than 1-2 days). The Isle of Pines has beautiful beaches with turquoise water, white sand etc. Lovely.
Have you considered Vanuatu? I preferred it to New Caledonia but have not really explored either place well.
