Hello... I am flying in at 8:45AM into Lamap (Malekula) and need to leave Ambrym at 8:00AM flying out from Craig Cove two days later. So essentially I will have 2 full days (3 days and 2 nights).
I would like to spend a day on Lamap, and maybe spend the night, then take a boat to Craig Cove early the next morning and then spend the next day visiting the volcano on Ambrym and then fly out the third morning. I think the boat from Lamap to Craig Cove will be a bit pricey (more than $100).
Just wondering if anybody had any suggestions - accommodations, tours, guides, boats etc.
Thanks
Malekula to Ambrym

I've just been to the islands of Efate (Vila) and Espiritu Santo, however, I can recommend you post Lonely Planet's Thorn Tree.
Please consider taking anti-malarials. When I was in Vila I met someone who contracted malaria on a short trip to Ambrym to see the volcanoes.

Ah, I see you already have posted on Lonely Planet:

Good. It's the best place for info about off the beaten track destinations.
I loved Vanuatu. Amazing diving, lovely people, fascinating cultures.
