Trying to help friends plan their honeymoon and I can't think of anything more romantic than a OWT bungalow. They are looking for more of an upscale property, not too large. Besides French Polynesia, which islands offer OTW rooms? We stayed at Hotel Bora Bora 10 yrs ago, but heard it's closed indefinitely. (BTW, Maldives and Seychelles are too far for them to travel.)

Hi Katie,
Fiji has a fairly new luxury resort, the only one with over the water bungalows, called Likuliku Lagoon resort.
Btw, just my personal observation, but those OTW bungalows have the reputation for being romantic, but honestly, there's so many resorts that have them now, and they're situated so close to one another in many instances, that I don't feel many are all that romantic OR private!
Hope this is helpful!
