I am planning a trip from Canada to Australia leaving Nov 15 and returning Dec 15. I would love to stop at one of the Pacific Islands and was wondering about the rainy season/typhoons. Is it worth a stop or would it be too wet. Also, which island would off the best scuba diving. (Fiji, Cooks, Samoa). I could also stop in Bali on the return and wondered about the weather there also. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'm no diving expert butI would say they would all offer great diving. Raratonga is the smallest of the islands so you will achieve a lot more there.
Rain will be in the afternoons and cyclones are random and rare.
Why are you coming to Australia? What do you want to do here? There is great diving here.
Also do a bit of research on Vanuatu. It has some of the best scuba diving in the Pacific.

Active volcano too. Great to see.
Thanks for the info, so I am assuming that the rain should not stop us from going. Peter, I am making a fourth trip to Australia, Perth actually. I am looking for some warm water diving---not too keen about the full wet suits. We will likely visit the Great Barrier this trip as well. I will check out Vanuatu as well.
