I am looking at staying 4 nights at 1BR apartment being offered at Shed 22 Princes Wharf, Auckland. From the pictures it seems nice. The person renting wants a deposit in advance to her Bank Account. I normally prefer to pay by credit card. Any one stayed there? What was the experience?

Interesting that one of the apartments or even maybe more is a holiday let. They are next to the Hilton Hotel and built on the Princes Wharf, where there is also the overseas terminal for cruise ships. Four nights would be fine, any longer may not be as it is in the middle of an area with lots of cafes and bars. Can be a bit noisy at night. I have looked at the website it is on and for the price you could stay just as close to the action but in a hotel. Suggest the Copthorne Downtown or Sofitel downtown. Sofitel is a new addition to the chain and in a perfect spot, walking distance to the new cafe strip and walking distance to the waterfront area and centre of town. They had a four nights for price of three deal so might be worth checking out some websites. Copthorne is a nice hotel, and the prices are very good. It's the Millenium chain and they often have good deals. I drive past both twice a day so know the area well. Please ask if I can help any further.
Thanks for your comments. I decided to book the place as we prefer to cook our own rather than eat out.
