We're staying in Quebec City next week, and I see that there is dog sledding to the north near the Mont Sainte Anne resort. Has anyone experienced this, and was it worth the money/time?
Has anyone gone Dog Sledding (near Quebec City preferrably)?

maxpaste - Yes, we've been dogsledding near QC a few times over the past years. We travel with a busload of secondary school students and always have a great time with the dogs. Our research has shown the best for our needs is located about 15 km away from QC on the main south shore highway heading toward Montreal. There is a large statue of a dog by the entrance.
The actual run takes about 60 minutes and the dogs follow an established trail. Two people per sled, one sits, the other mushes. We've always done this on nice clear days (but cold) and it has been very successful. I would recommend you give it a try. I am sure you will have some stories to tell the folks back home.
p.s. We will be visiting QC (for the 8th year straight) in February 2010 for 4 days with another bunch of great students and we will be dogsledding again.
Let me know if I can assist in other ways.

This is late for you but may help another traveler. We just did some dog sledding near Quebec city. All tour operators were sold out but we found one 10-minutes south of Quebec City.
I am wary when everything is sold out because it may mean the open one is of poor quality. However, it was fantastic. Great guides and good experience.
My girlfriend and I made a video if you want to see the adventure first hand.

The company is called Chenil La Poursuite. I can't compare to others but, I would recommend them. http://www.chenillapoursuite.com/en
