Holy cow, 7.7. And tsunami warning.
I have relatives there, trying to get in touch.
How's everybody after the quake?

Never felt a thing in Victora. From local reports doesn't sound like there was too much damage. It was in the Queen Charlotte Islands( Haida Gwaii) They interviewed an earth quake specialist on TV and apparently the type that it was isn't as likely to produce a serious sunami. The two plates sort of shifted sideways against one another as opposed to bumping into one another head on.
Oh, good!
Felt about 30 - 45 seconds of swaying in Downtown Vancouver on the 33rd floor. Blinds swaying and noticeable movement as we stood up to move around the apartment but no damage or anything.
