When we travelled the Cabot Trail 9 yrs ago, we found Joe's scarecrows and had so much fun there so wanted to stop there again and they're gone.....does anyone know what happened?

Hi baddeck,
When I was through last Fall, there were "For Sale" signs on the property. Don't know if they were a victim of the economic times or what but it's a pity. I was looking forward to stopping by as I'd seen it as part of the Billy Connolly show "Journey to the Edge of the World". Hopefully it can be resurrected

Thanks for your response! I really missed it, because it was so unique in a 'Cape Breton' type of way!
Oh! I am sad to hear that as well - Joe's scarecrows were one of the Cabot Trail highlights when we visited last year
