Hi, we are planning a RV trip from White Horst to Eagle Plains in Yukon this summer. I have few questions and would be greatful for any answers/comments/perspectives. Thanks.
1. Is the road from White Horse to Dawson city paved? Is it like a regular highway we are all used to in major cities?
2. Is the road from Dawson city to Eagle Plains and beyond paved? In other words, is the Dempster highway paved? I am reading in certain messages that it is gravel all the way.
3. What is the landscape around the road like? Is it flat, gentle rolling hills, mountainous, snowy, forested, etc.?
4. How far is the artic circle from Eagle Plains?
5. Are there any RV camp grounds between White Horse and Eagle Plains?
Thanks
/ah

I cannot answer your question myself since I've never been to that part of Canada. However, a couple of years ago I was seriously looking to do the trip and came across a website by a nice gentleman thoroughly familiar with the area. I cannot recall the website but I did email him to let him know how interesting his website was and he responded, offering to answer any questions in future.
Here's his email address if you want to reach him: billh56@sympatico.ca
