Hi- my husband and I are planning a 10 year anniversary trip in March without our kids. We originally were looking at the Verandah on Turks and Caicos but it has been sold and is currently closed. We are looking for direct flight from NYC and would like all inclusive but that isn't required. We are looking for great food and drinks, beautiful views, relaxation and good service. Two resorts we are looking at now are Sivory in the Dominican Republic or Galley Bay in Antigua. I would love to get feedback from anyone who has stayed at either resort.
Also- if you have other suggestions, we are open. My other dream spot is the four seasons at Nevis but direct flights to St. kitts seems hard from NY. We would like to stay around $6k for the trip- 4 nights.
Thank you for any advise!!

Also- we have looked at the Sandals Royal Caribbean but having never stayed at a Sandals, we are not sure what to expect.
Don't give up on Four Seasons, Nevis as flying from NYC to St. Kitts is not all that hard. American Airlines flies non-stop from JFK to St. Kitts on Sundays and Wednesdays. It's actually an easy flight down - only about a 4 hour flight - you leave around 8AM and arrive on Island by 1PM St. Kitts time (12 noon NY time). Going back you leave SKB at 2PM (local time) and arrive JFK at 6PM.
Thanks! We are pricing it now...
Narrowed list is:
Galley Bay - Antigua
Sivory - DR
Seven Stars - Turks
Four Seasons - Nevis
Sandals Royal Caribbean - DR
Any feedback on these would be so appreciated!!
