Advice needed please -- our hotel will take us to their sister lodge Kura Hulanda at Westpont in their free shuttle 10:30 am -5:30 pm but we'll have to miss a walking tour we're interested in that begins at 5:15 pm. We leave the next day at 2 pm for Bonaire -- does the snorkeling and scenery at Westpont compare to what we'll be seeing at Bonaire or will we miss out if we skip the afternoon at Lodge Kura Hulanda -- 5 hrs kinda sounds like a long time on the beach. Any thoughts? tia

There's plenty to see around the Kura Hulanda in town if you only have one day. Willemstad is a very interesting town and you won't have anything like that in Bonaire. Save your snorkelling and beach time for Bonaire!
unfortunately, the walking tour is in Dutch.... Any suggestions?
You don't need to go on an organized tour....go out and walk across the bridge and there are plenty of shops, museums and restaurants all around town. My favourite hot spots are: Rif Fort, Floating market, Waterfront arches.
Take a taxi to Seaquarium beach -- lots going on.
