I'm from Florida (panhandle) and I would like to get married somewhere in the Caribbean in June or July 2013 (low season) based on rates, flights and legal requirements. I have been seriously researching Antigua and St. Lucia (East Winds Inn) but I am trying to keep prices as moderate as possible. I have also looked into the Turks, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Belize or Andros Bahamas but I do not wish to stay in a total touristy area but maybe where we could catch a bus/taxi to a higher populated area (if we wish). High end accommodations are not as important to me as a relaxed environment on the beach. Something bungalow-ish or a nice low-key, boutique-style hotel (with air conditioning) as opposed to a large, fancy resort would be more me. I have been to St. John USVI, Jost van Dyke, the Bahamas (Compass Point) and Costa Rica; and I loved each of those places for various reasons. Snorkeling, live music and good food would be a plus too. I would appreciate any experience and suggestions (ideal location, all inclusive and/or just stay). I am not opposed to other islands if suggested from someone. Thanks in advance.
I really like the look of the British Virgin Islands but we cannot afford that trip!

have you considered caneel bay on st. john? has the style you wish & excellent snorkeling. st. john has some stuff/music going on in small venues & you can ferry to st. thomas where lots is happening in 20 mins to red hook or 45 mins to charlotte amalie. also you could ferry or tour to any of the bvi's for a day.
