We have booked a courtyard suite at JB for July and have a few questions
We may have an opportunity to upgrade and was wondering if we were offered a pool suite upgrade should we stick with the courtyard suite?
What resort restaurant food choices and drink choices should not be missed?
Has anyone had the picnic lunch at Pasture Bay and if so, what were your food and drink selections?
How many actual beaches are on the island and are they all accessible?
We booked the meet and greet ferry and wondered how often the ferry operates back and forth from the main island.
Comments on the resort and island would be greatly appreciated. Tell us what we should not miss.

First of all you will love Jumby Bay! I have always liked the courtyard suite. The pool suites are also very popular. The meet and greet service is the way to go--and you will love the entry to the dock. They have made this a great waiting spot (very short) for the ferry. Years ago I always felt isolated waiting for the ferry, now they have a phone, chairs an bathrooms. The meet and greet will coordinate your arrival ferry. Not to worry about the ferry it runs every hour from 7am to 11 pm. Its only an 8 minute trip.
Jumby Beach is the main beach, very calm, chairs spaced far apart, and a happy beach bar. They will serve you all day!
Nice beach service too. I love the laughter in the evening from the lovely little bar. Jenny has been on the island forever--and is a true gem!
Pasture Beach is rocky, its fun to go over there for an evening bike ride--walk the beach and see all the stunning private homes. A picnic might be fun--the kitchen will give you a nice choice I am sure.
There are 3 main beaches--but Jumby Beach is the best and has
the beach bar, raft, swim ropes. I love this beach. Harbor Beach is fun to ride and see, there are more homes there and the staff dock. Actually there are paths around the whole island--great for hikes and bike rides.
I am not sure if all the restaurants (3) are open in July. The Pool Grille is open for lunch---love the setting. Veranda is your breakfast dining, lunch and dinner. The Estate House is lovely--love the elegant bar. On Sunday they have a White Night on the beach grilling and buffet. The Jumby punch is one of our favorites, and the fruit smoothies on the beach are very refreshing. Your wish is their command. All very nice.
The whole setting is very much a private club, where you will feel like an elegant member. The service and staff are wonderful. Its so peaceful and private. I know you will enjoy!!
Thank you for the detail provided in your response and Jumby punch it is. Cheers.
