I am going at the end of Ocotber, 2012. I am trying to figure out if the $125.daily meal plan is worth it. I know alcoholic beverages are extra and a 15% gratuity is added. Normally, I order an appetizer or salad and an entree. On rare occasions, I will order a dessert and sometimes my friend and I will share one dessert. It is very hard to get menus with prices online in order to make a decent comparison.
In advance, I thank you all for your comments!

We have been to Atlantis both with and without the meal plan. We spent less money without the plan. We are not big breakfast eaters so we would either eat breakfast bars that we brought from home or go to the nearby shopping center for breakfast. We always had a nice lunch right at Atlantis and then a nice dinner either at Atlantis or one of the many restaurants off the Atlantis property.
Unless you have an appetizer, entree and dessert at every meal and eat all your meals at Atlantis, I don't think it's worth it. If you plan on having all your meals right there, it may benefit you.
That 15% gratuity is based on what the actual price of your meal would have been without the plan...it is not just on the $125 a day plan cost. It can really add up.
The restaurant menus are on the Atlantis.com website. Once you are on the Atlantis home page click on dining and then fine dining or casual dining and click on each restaurant. The restaurant page will come up and click on menus.
