Hello,
We are hoping to stay at Ti Kaye Resort for 5 nights in early June. I'd love to hear any suggestions, pros/cons for the resort & the island. Also interested in hearing your experiences regarding safety on the island.
Thanks so much for your time!

Ti Kaye is a great place - set on the hill so lots of stairs to the lovely beach. Not really close to anything so you'd need a car/taxi/tour if you want to see a bit of the island. Beautiful island, very mountainous. Safety - as with anywhere, if it doesn't feel right, leave it out. Don't go wandering around in quiet places at night. No need for fancy jewelry - leave it at home - don't want to invite trouble by wearing a nice gold chain. Use hotel/room safe. There is crime (as there is anywhere in the world), so be sensible. Do not lock things in the car where they can be seen - if you must leave something in the car, put it under the seat or in the trunk. There are some travel tips here: http://www.destinationcaribbean.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=134&Itemid=173 that you might find useful, and some general info about St Lucia here: http://www.destinationcaribbean.net/index.php?option=com_dcpublishedcountries&task=view_country&id=7&Itemid=35&Itemid2=70
Hope that helps.
Bajangirl,
Thanks so much for your help, I appreciate it!
