We just booked this resort for our honeymoon. Has anyone stayed in the Sugar Mill Rooms and have any pictures? Most of the ones I see are of the villas. Also how difficult is it to get to nearby hotels such as ladera, or chocolate? Are taxi rides expensive? Also when booking tours do you recommend going through the hotel or doing it on our own? One last question-many people suggest stopping at a supermarket before getting to the hotel for mixers, snacks, etc. Is there one along the way from the UVF airport?
Any insight will be helpful. Thanks!

I can answer a few of the questions. I haven't stayed in the Sugar Mill rooms since they have been renovated, but they are a nice size and I like the location. It's not cheap to take a taxi to other hotels, so you have to consider that. The resort is fairly isolated, so there's not a lot nearby. I'm not at all sure about supermarkets, so I have no idea of what to recommend. If there's no supermarket on the way, you can go into Soufriere and pick up a few things. But honestly, this is not a cheap place, and there are few options to go off-site for anything, so you really need to be prepared to pay resort-style prices for everything.
Are you not going on AI, I would recommend it since it's an isolated location.
