You will love Turks & Caicos. We spent our honeymoon at The Regent Palms- beautiful suites, full kitchens, great spa & dining--wonderful beach & staff. Gansevoort

Seven Stars

both have gorgeous rooms, both have mellow but chic nightlife, both have views

(Gansevoort has DJs on weekends and big screen TVs on the beach for special sports nights; Seven Stars has live music at the Deck, the best place for ambience on the beach, including beach BBQ bonfires, tiki torches, couches and fire pits)

Of course, you didn't give a budget, which might make a huge difference

PS...my wife says The Regent Palms Spa is the best she's been to anywhere...ever.

Lots of excellent choices so far, I would just add the Ocean Clubs or Royal West Indies as more budget friendly options.

I have to add West Bay Club to the mix. Just returned from my third visit there! I think it offers some of the best value and most beautiful accommodations around, plus has the widest section of beach of nearly any we saw on Grace Bay. Not too many kiddies there, either. And right next door to The Gansevoort, so if you need trendiness or nightlife, it's right there.

My girlfriend and her boyfriend loved the Seven Stars.

What is your budget for this trip? That may help narrow your list.

Would go up to $5000 for ocean front. I'm eyeing Seven Stars or Regent Palms for sure. Any suggestions on where to book? I'm checking the usuals, CheapCarribbean, Funjet, etc. Thanks for your help!

What are your dates?

I've had very good luck going directly through the hotels. Many of them offer one or two nights free depending on the season.

I looked at a lot of hotels when last there. I still think best bang for the buck is the West Bay Club. Look at their one-bed luxury oceanfront units. Very hard to beat that. They are as nice as they look on the website, maybe better!

Also the beach is one of the widest and most uncrowded sections on West Bay.

Of course the downside is distance from restaurants. You will need a cab to go to most of them, and going rate seems to be about $14 per person roundtrip.

My husband and i loved Point Grace. The beach is beautiful and sparsely populated - there were only 2 very quiet and well behaved children at the resort when we were there. Rooms are very nice with living room and kitchen. The resort only has about 30 rooms so it was small enough to feel intimate yet it still had ammenities of a larger resort- restaurant, pool, massages, etc...they provide a nice happy hour at night and a Managers cocktail party and I believe continental breakfast as well as free bikes and a few other things like kayaks, snorkling gear and they have guest access to a local gym. We liked it enough that we are making a 2nd trip there - treating my parents for my Moms 70th Birthday.

There's not a bad place to stay!

For Seven Stars, the best place to book is directly with them, ask for Yngrit. Tell her you want the best prices available and that you've seen specials on Facebook in the past. She's terrific to work with if you want Seven Stars.

For other places, depending where, sometimes its great to book directly. Places like Sommerset, Point Grace, West Bay Club, are better suited to go directly.
