My husband and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary this fall and are trying to decide where to go. We live on the east coast and would like somewhere that is relatively easy to get to. We went to Caneel Bay on St. John for our honeymoon and loved it, but would like somewhere with a little more to do at night. We are considering St. Barts (Hotel Christopher - though I can't tell if it has a beach), Anguilla (Viceroy), St. Martin - cannot figure out where we would stay here. We have considered some places in Jamaica and St. Lucia. Any ideas on places we haven't found yet?? Any thoughts on above spots that are a must see?? Looking to go first week in November or possibly in October. Help please!
Which Island do we choose?

IMHO, anywhere on St Bart's trumps most places on the other islands you list. The food alone will be worth it.
If you need more nightlife than St. John, then St. Martin is the only one for you. Your other choices nightlife consists of long dinners mostly.
eastenderusvi, thanks for your reply. any hotels you like better than others?? tom beach, hotel christopher?
EHall: Any place you can afford would be great. It is a very pricy spot, but the ambiance is superb. I love Eden Rock, but I don't think I can afford it.LOL.
How about Sandals Resort in Jamaica? There are 7 Sandals Properties in Jamaica but i would recommend Sandals Whitehouse which is one hour drive from Montego Bay. Another great choice is Sandals Grande Ocho Rios because it is walking distance from Ocho Rios town that is famous for many attractions such as Dunns River Falls, Mystic Mountains, and Dolphin Cove.
How about Jumby Bay? Cotton House (Mustique), Spice Island (Grenada), or Jade Mountain (St. Lucia). Viceroy Anguilla is also beautiful. St Barth's is great but very expensive, and depending on the resort the beach access may not be ideal.
anse marcel, st martin, tranquil beach ... rent a car ... great food in grand case and can explore the rest of the island. or martinique
St. Maarten for nightlife, great food options and duty- free shopping if by chance you feel to do a bit.
