My husband, 18 year old son and I will be stopping in Belize on our cruise next week. Need to book something fast and are thinking of Coral Breeze's Shark Sringray Alley Tour which has 2 snorkel stops. Saw good reviews except that they make you stay in a line in the water. Also saw good reviews for cave tubing but feel like snorkel should be the thing to do with a reef like Belize has. Saw Goff''s Cave mentioned too but which has been snorkeling? Will also stop in Cozumel (been to Chankanaab), Roatan, and Costa Maya so want some variety in excursions. Read Belize was where it was best to book an excursion too. Other stops could get places without this. Want to avoid cost of booking on Norweigan if possible. Appreciate any help!

We booked with an independent group. The tour involved a boat ride up the New river and a tour of Mayan ruins (translates to sunken crocodile). Overall a great tour, cheaper than the cruise sponsored options and enough out of the way that the cruises don't go there (meaning no huge crowds at the site and you aren't herded through). Our group was eight people.
Cruisecritic.com is a good place to review the different shore excursion options. You will read enough reviews of everything offered to make an informed decision about what you will like.
Sounds good. We love when we can get away from big groups. Ironic since we're part of the cruise ship stops that create that! : )
thanks for posting jacobla, I am going on the same cruise Jan 2-9, and am having the same indecision!
