We are going to be on the Caribbean Princess for the British Isles cruise this summer and we are now booing our shore excursions and tours.
We have most ports now sorted but are struggling with the Orkney Islands Kirkwall port. Our searching to date has found the choice of either a small group tour or a private tour both being offered by a company called Orkney Aspects (www.orkneyaspects.co.uk), the price is reasonable and they seem to know the island well.
So my question is has any one used them in the past and what can you tell me about them?
Please let me know any information you can as I want to book soon because I am given to understand these tours sell out quickly.
Thanks
Tony

Hi
I have only just seen this and I may be to late to help you.
We used Orkney Aspects last year when we docked in Kirkwall and they were fantastic.
We took a private tour with Pat and I have to say it was the best tour we have ever had and we nearly always make private tours when we visit a place. Pat sure knows how to run a tour, she is knowledgeable, pleasant, polite and most importantly fun. The places we visited with her were awesome and she was able to really bring them alive with all the information she gave us. There was also a great lunch stop and time to do a little, shopping as well.
My advice to you is book Orkney Aspects now (if you have not already done) you will have a great time. Please say Hi from us.
Roddy
