Can anyone give feedback on what to expect as far as ocean conditions when cruising across the Atlantic in April? Will be crossing from Florida to the Azores mid April. Will Dramamine be needed?

I can't comment on Dramamine and how the cruise effects you, but just so you know, I did 2 transatlantic cruises and I was fine.
12 yo when I did Poland to Canada and mid 40s when I did Spain to FL, US.
Nothing but pure enjoyment.
I did scientific research on ocean vessels for years. Ocean conditions are unpredictable, so I would advise you to simply bring Dramamine just in case. Chances are, you'll have great weather, but sea sickness (which I still experienced at times after years offshore!) is a horrible feeling, so no point in taking the risk. Hope it's great!
Thanks! Will pack some just in case/not expecting to have seasickness, but you never know.
You're welcome! If I can save anyone that dreadful feeling, then I've done my job. This way you'll have no worries if seas get rough.
We leave Tampa for Barcelona April 7 and will hit the Azores on the 17th. I will let you know through this post.
Our TA cruise in April was great - calm water, warm weather - never any problems, but probably better safe than sorry.
sorry for spelling; using french keyboard; Legend trip 4_è to Barcelona was very smooth; sunny; left azores on 4/15 AND HAD GQLE WINDS OF FORTY FIVE KNOTS BUT AT NIGHT AND ONE AM BUT NOT BAD.
