My wife and I just finished (July 2/07) our first cruise with Crystal. I would describe Crystal as the Rolls Royce of cruising. The staff, the food, the service were the finest we had ever experienced with a cruise line. Crystal will do anything to make you happy. We booked another cruise with Crystal while on board. Everyone we spoke to on board tld us Crystal was their favorite of all the top tier cruise lines they have sailed. Not one person we spoke to picked a cruise line better than Crystal

We agree with you. We leave next week on our 7th Crystal Cruise for a tour of Scandanavia and St. Petersburg. Every one of them has been wonderful. That is probably why so many people are repeat customers.

Agreement here, as well. We took a Mediterranean cruise with them and it was one of the best vacations we've ever had.... Have done other cruise lines, not so good (am trying Celebrity next month - Crystal no longer does Alaska....). They're expensive - but worth the money (it's just getting that money that's hard..... LOL)...
Crystal is certainly top notch but I'd have to disagree that it is the best. IMO, Regent is even a notch above and has very large standard cabins (all with balconies and walk in closets on the Voyager & Mariner) plus it is all inclusive. I will give Crystal the higher marks with regards to destination speakers onboard but for food, service, entertainment I think Regent deserves a higher mark.
Really can't go wrong with either line. If you prefer more passengers and don't mind a smaller cabin, Crystal is a good choice.

But you can't go wrong with either. Outstanding, all the way around.
Took my first Crystal cruise in JUne '07. I would never sail on another line after cruising with Crystal. Food, service, etc was top notch! Booked another cruise while on board. You cannot go wrong with Crystal.
