I see where you did a windstar cruise out of Barbados. Can you comment on the ports and activities please. We are considering doing this. Have done one out of St Martin and it was very nice.
Happy Travels!

Hi sorry it has taken me so long to reply; I'm rarely on here anymore. We really enjoyed the cruise (it was our third with Windstar) and the ports were interesting. First was St. Kitts. We didn't do any excursions there, just took the tender into town and walked around a bit. The sportsdeck was out that day so we spent most of the afternoon enjoying those activities. Next was St. Martin and this was our third time in St. Martin so again we didn't do any excursions, just grabbed a taxi and went to a nice beach and then had a fabulous lunch in town. On a previous trip to St. Martin, we took the Catamaran snorkle excursion and that was very nice. On St. Barts, we were going to take the excursion/hike to Colombier beach, but for the four of us, it would cost $400. So we took a taxi from port to the head of the trail and hiked it on our own. Spent time at the beautiful beach and hiked back to where the taxi met us at the prearranged time. Cost less the $100. On a previous visit to St. Barts, we rented a car and explored the island on our own and I highly recommend doing that if you are comfortable driving. Next was Ile des Saintes which was very quaint. I don't think any excursions were offered on that island as it is tiny and just about everyone on board walked to the recommended beach to sun and snorkel. On St. Lucia, I wish we had done the zipline tour as everyone who went on it raved about it. We took the catamaran to the Pitons which was OK but you actually get a much better view of the Pitons onboard the Windspirit itself as you sail away from St. Lucia on the way back to Barbados. Hope this helps! Have a wonderful trip.
Thanks for your reply. We have booked this trip. Some of the ports are different but we are looking forward to it.
