I've finished posting about our pre-cruise days in Quito, and am now starting to post about our 7-day cruise aboard Celebrity Xpedition. Our itinerary took us to the Daphnes (circumnavigation), Santiago, Rabida, Isabela, Bartolome, North Seymour, Santa Cruz (north shore and south shore), San Cristobal, and Kicker Rock (sunset circumnavigation).

Wow great blog. Thanks for the report. We are seriously looking at booking this trip - so look forward to the next portions of your trip report. How did you choose the timing of your trip? Is there a best time for weather?
We wanted to go during the cool season, which runs from May thru December.
See this link ... http://www.galapagosislands.com/galapagos-resources/galapagos-weather.html
Aug/Sep might have been cooler, but we already had other commitments, hence it was July.
