My friend and I are considering a Transatlantic trip on the MSC Poesia in Sept. 2011. Most of the reviews that I have read about the ship have been very unfavorable; especially about the quality of food and always luke warm at best.
Would like to know if anyone has cruised on this ship and their experience/comments.

My sister sailed on it and didn't like it at all. Why did you choose this line?
I would suggest you look for another cruise line. There are many wonderful transatlantics out there. Do a search for this year and most probably you will find the same itinerary for next year. Next year's are already out. There are many nice ones in Nov. if you wanted to cruise that late.
My friends just did a Bermuda cruise on Poesia and they said it was the worst cruise they've ever taken. They cruise all the time so I would take their recommendations to heart. There are many bargain transatlantics out there, you just need to find one you like.
