My husband and I have just been assigned our room number - it's on Deck 5 (B2 category) and is a "connecting stateroom".
I'm concerned after reading on the net about 'noise' from adjoining rooms.
Anyone out there with firsthand experience about being in a connecting stateroom on the QM2?
Cheers.
Sailing Sunday on QM2. "Connecting stateroom" ?

We have had a connecting staterooms twice on the QM2. Once we heard nothing in the 12 night cruise. The other time we could hear the people whenever they were on the phone because they spoke quite loudly. I think it just depends on whether you have noisey neighbors. A worse problem for us has been fellow passengers who let their balcony doors slam instead of "catching" them.
