We are considering a cruise on Silver Wind for October (Mediterranean). I have looked at various on line forums and seen mixed reviews on this ship. Is it not up to the standard of its sister ships, even after its refurbishment? Any advice would be greatly appreciated - this would be our first Silverseas cruise and we don't want to make a bad choice.
Food and wine quality and service is probably our most important criterion - at the other end of the spectrum, we are not that interested in on board entertainment. Also, on a ten night cruise, how many formal attire evenings should we expect?

Just saw your request for info. I am curious, how did the cruise go? Did you like Silversea? It wasn't our favorite. Were the other passengers interesting? Thanks.
I don't believe it is up to Silversea standards. I know that quite a bit of time has passed since your question was posted. Please see my review posted yesterday.
